Kajal Rana is a painter, whose work incorporates printing and photography. She takes images that are personal to her through a process of digital manipulation. By layering, distorting and editing them these become unrecognisable. Rana’s work is developed digitally. The layering process is used to investigate the way in which memories become unclear, and interfere with each other; either revealing or concealing information from the work.  The value of her work comes from her childhood and how those memories captured are unclear to her.
